David Lynch is one of GFT's most beloved filmmakers — as many of our staff and regulars will never forget, we had the honour of welcoming him to the cinema back in 2007. To celebrate the legacy of the CineMaster of CineMasters, we're screening four of his greatest films as part of our Birthday Programme this May. A Victorian surgeon rescues a heavily disfigured man being mistreated by his "owner" as a side-show freak. Behind his monstrous façade, there is revealed a person of great intelligence and sensitivity.
