Based on a real scandal, Bombshell is the explosive story of the women who brought down the infamous man at the helm of the most powerful and controversial media empire of all time. Fox News CEO Roger Ailes resigned in 2016 following sexual assault allegations from several female employees and went on to become an advisor to the Donald Trump campaign. Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie play three Fox News employees who set out to expose Ailes and the toxic atmosphere he presided over at the network.

An 'in conversation with’ Hannah Walters and Eve Livingston will follow this screening. Hannah is a Girl Studies and Sociology researcher and co-founder of feminist collective, Girlhood Gang. Eve Livingston is a journalist who was shortlisted for the Orwell Prize for writing on women and work.

Visible Cinema is a D/deaf and Hard of Hearing friendly film programme: a captioned or subtitled screening is followed by a post-film discussion with integrated BSL and Speech To Text Service. FAQs here.
