Details

Considered by many as the best British film ever made, The Third Man returns to the big screen for one night only, celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the original World Premiere. Directed by Carol Reed, from an original script by acclaimed novelist Graham Greene, Oscar-winner The Third Man features breathtaking cinematography, an endlessly quotable performance by Orson Welles and an iconic soundtrack from Viennese busker, zither player Anton Karas. Screening in 4K.

This screening will be preceded by an exclusive musical performance from Cornelia Mayer, a Viennese zither player that trained with Karas, and followed by a recorded Q&A hosted by film critic Danny Leigh featuring Angela Allen, one of the last remaining crew members, special guest and fan of the film writer/director Hossein Amini, and more special guests.
