Two self-proclaimed writers find themselves drawn to Rosemonde (Bulle Ogier: Celine, Julie Go Boating), a spirited post-hippie, pre-punk girl who may or may not have shot her uncle. As they attempt to adapt her story as a screenplay, one writer prefers facts while the other is drawn to fantasy. An intelligent, tongue-in-cheek portrait of the young, the free and the defiant—and of the dead-end jobs, old men, and nitwits that get in their way.
A short film will screen alongside this film as part of the Mobile Film Festival.
