25 years before The Hunger Games there was The Running Man. Based on King’s novel (published under pseudonym Richard Bachman), The Running Man has become increasingly relevant in recent years. The worldwide economy has collapsed and the US has become a totalitarian police state. Struggling to survive on limited resources the population is pacified by State-run television shows including ‘The Running Man’, where convicts fight for the chance of a pardon but where the usual outcome is death. Ben Richards (Arnold Schwarzenegger) finds himself on ‘The Running Man’ after being wrongly accused of massacring civilians. He must fight for survival whilst the world is watching.

All tickets £5.50.
