The Hollywood Pitch with Braw Talent

This 2 hour workshop delivered by qualifed educators Braw Talent, focusses on creative idea generation, exploring the pre production processes of filmmaking, the various careers/roles and the importance of teamwork. In groups of 4, each member will assume specific roles with different responsibilities, working through various tasks that will ultimately produce a film idea and pitch document before voting on a winning pitch.

Participants will learn:

  • The key skills required to work in the film industry
  • What these skills look like in practice
  • Budgeting and financing
  • How to create and deliver a project pitch

This workshop is best suited for secondary pupils and can be adapted to class age.

The maximum capacity of these workshops is 20 pupils and accompanying teachers. Schools are welcome to bring snacks for a short break.


1. All Workshops take place at CCA, Sauchiehall St, Glasgow City Centre

2. These workshops are fully funded by Glasgow City Council and are therefore only available to GCC Schools.

Please note the location of these workshops is CCA, 350 Sauchiehall St, Glasgow G2 3JD


Please note that teachers are responsible for the behaviour and supervision of their pupils throughout the entirety of the workshop.

Each day there will be a GFT staff member on hand to support, but due to the capacity of the workshop rooms they may not be able to present during the full workshop to accommodate the number of practitioners.

Is this a provisional booking:

School bookings will be processed on a first come, first served basis. Though we reserve the right to refuse schools that make multiple bookings to ensure the maximum number of schools have access to the workshops.

Demand for our workshops is usually high so when you fill in the booking form, please ensure you have permission and resources in place to attend. Our workshops are very popular and can book up quickly, so to avoid slowing down the process for yourself and other schools please avoid making multiple bookings for shows you ‘may’ attend.

Only fill in the booking form if you wish to attend this show, once your booking is processed it will be held to our terms and conditions including our cancellation policies.

When will my booking be processed:

We aim to respond to all booking enquiries within 5 working days. Please allow this time before contacting our Box Office team.

What if I need to cancel:

Should you cancel with less than two-weeks before the date of your workshop there is a £50 cancellation fee.
