Mary is sent to live with her great aunt in the countryside. Seeking adventure, she follows a mysterious cat into the nearby woods. There she discovers a mysterious blue flower that only appears once every seven years, and an old broomstick. She soon finds herself soaring beyond the clouds to a city in the sky where Madam Mumblechook and the brilliant Doctor Dee preside over the Endor College of Magic. But there are terrible things happening at the school, and, when Mary tells a lie, she must risk her life to try and set things right.
