A touching and faithful adaptation of Katherine Patersons novel which deals with overcoming tragedy. A preteen’s life turns upside down when he befriends the new girl in school and together they create the fantastical kingdom of Terabithia; a magical place only accessible to them. There, they rule the kingdom, fight the Dark Master and his creatures, and make plans to deal with school bullies. One morning, Leslie goes to Terabithia without Jess and tragedy strikes. It is then that Jess finds true strength in the legacy of their friendship.
