The GSFF Scottish Short Film Award honours inspiration and innovation in new Scottish cinema. Many of the filmmakers will be in attendance to take part in short Q&As after each screening. Thanks once again to the generous support of independent production company Blazing Griffin, the award carries a cash prize of £1,500. You will have the chance to vote for your favourite to win the Audience Award, the winner of which will be invited to create the GSFF 2020 trailer.

In this first competition programme, it’s all about what’s not said, bubbling away underneath the surface. A programme of conflict and discord, be it personal or political, tragic or comic.
