Details

This provocative anti-hate satire from writer/director Taika Waititi (Thor RagnarokHunt for the Wilderpeople) was one of the most talked-about films on the autumn festival circuit. In the dying days of the Second World War, a lonely German boy discovers that his mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (played by Taika Waititi), Jojo must confront his blind support of Nazi ideology.

Join Rebecca from the GFT team and fellow film fans for a drop-in discussion about the film on Tuesday 14 January at 20.00 in GFT's Project Room.
