EIFF 2021: GFT screenings

We are delighted to be taking part in the 74th edition of Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF). This year, EIFF is taking selected titles on tour around Scotland during August, bringing three exciting premieres to GFT.

Information on the films we're screening is below. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 28 July.

After his foraging pig is kidnapped, a truffle hunter (a sublime Nicolas Cage) in the Oregon wilderness must return to his past life in Portland in search of his beloved pig.

Billy Crystal writes, directs and stars in this gentle comedy, set in New York City, about inter-generational friendship, family and finding every silver lining.

A fascinating chronicle of Scottish island life, told through the lens of Lawrence MacEwen’s family, who have owned, worked and lived on the Isle of Muck for generations.

These films are screening Scotland-wide as part of the 74th edition of Edinburgh International Film Festival, supported by the Scottish Government's Festivals Expo Fund. EIFF 2021 takes place from 18-25 August, with in-person and online events. Join in the conversation and find out more at
