In this 90 minute workshop, led by experienced artists and animators, Penny & Innes, this workshop will show pupils how to create their own interesting characters for use in writing and filming using art materials. Pupils will learn about character building through experiencing how design can help them express their characters traits and personalities and how this can be communicated to an audience. This workshop can be adjusted for any groups aged 7-14. Please ensure to identify what age group you are bringing in your booking information.

These workshops accommodate a maximum of 12 pupils and 1 teacher.

COVID-19 Terms and Conditions:

During this booking you will be the only school in the workshop, and workshop spaces are capped at 12 pupils and 1 teacher.

Please do not attend if anyone in your party is experiencing cold or flu symptoms.

We ask that all pupils aged 7-14 wear face masks during the workshop and when moving around the building to respect our practitioners.


Please note that teachers are responsible for the behaviour and supervision of their pupils throughout the entirety of the workshop.

Each day there will be a GFT PVG staff member on hand to support, but due to the capacity of the workshop rooms they may not be able to present during the full workshop to accommodate the number of practitioners.

Is this a provisional booking:

School bookings will be processed on a first come, first served basis. Though we reserve the right to refuse schools that make multiple bookings to ensure the maximum number of schools have access to the workshops.

Demand for our workshops is usually high so when you fill in the booking form, please ensure you have permission and resources in place to attend. Our workshops are very popular and can book up quickly, so to avoid slowing down the process for yourself and other schools please avoid making multiple bookings for shows you ‘may’ attend.

Only fill in the booking form if you wish to attend this show, once your booking is processed it will be held to our terms and conditions including our cancellation policies.

When will my booking be processed:

We aim to respond to all booking enquiries within 5 working days. Please allow this time before contacting our Box Office team.

What if I need to cancel:

Should you cancel with less than two-weeks before the date of your workshop there is a £50 cancellation fee.
