Details

It’s 1914, World War One is stalling on the Western Front as the two sides fall behind their trenches, neither can cross 'no man's land'. But, as Christmas Eve falls so too do the tanks and guns in a remarkable true story where each side agrees to a temporary truce to celebrate Christmas together.

Tickets are £4/pupil. Teachers go free!

FAQs

We are really looking forward to welcoming your group to GFT.  Watching film in a cinema is a great way to instigate conversations and learning back in the classroom or home and we carefully choose our films with this in mind. To make sure your group get the most out of their visit please consider the following FAQs:

  1. Is this a provisional booking?

When you fill in the booking form, please ensure you have permission and resources in place to attend. Our screenings are very popular and can book up quickly, so to avoid slowing down the process for yourself and other schools please avoid making multiple bookings for shows you ‘may’ attend.

Only fill in the booking form if you wish to attend this show, once your booking is processed it will be held to our terms and conditions including our cancellation policies.

 2. When will my booking be processed?

We aim to respond to all booking enquiries within 5 working days. Please allow this time before contacting our Box Office team.

 3. What if the screening is sold out?

We do our best to accommodate all requests. If a screening is sold out our Box Office team will add you to our waiting lists and will contact you once seats become available. This can happen often so please take advantage by keeping an eye out for our Box Office email!

 4. What if I need to cancel?

Should you cancel with less than two-weeks before the date of your screening there is a £50 cancellation fee.

 5. How do I organise payment for tickets?

If your screening requires payment all cheques should be made out to Glasgow Film Theatre

Advance payments are welcome but if you chose not to pay in advance please bring your payment on the day of the screening. Please ensure all payments can be made in one transaction.

If you wish to reduce or cancel your seats your booking can be amended up to two weeks prior to the screening. After this point your booking is final and your payment must be for the number of seats booked.
