The dreams and desires of a group of young male sex workers are sensitively explored in Petersen Vargas’ moving drama, which brings the night-time streets of Manila in the Philippines vividly to life. When streetwise Uno (Jomari Angeles) meets the more vulnerable Zion (Miguel Odron), he takes him under his wing - but the rest of his gang aren’t so sure about the new kid. A fateful event will lead them on an unexpected odyssey across the city that sees friendships forged and tested. Vargas finds hopefulness in unexpected places without making light of the harsh reality the youngsters face.
