A CLUB NIGHT BY GFF & MUBI
Glasgow Film Festival turns 21 this year, to celebrate its birthday GFF and MUBI are taking the festival behind the scenes and onto the dancefloor at Glasgow's legendary venue Sub Club.
Post Credits is a genre-blurring, high-energy afterparty bringing together some of the most exciting selectors, curated by Hu-Sane. This lineup dives deep into bass, percussion, and diasporic sounds—celebrating identity, storytelling, and movement.
Leading the night is Yas Meen Selectress, an Egyptian multi-genre DJ crafting rhythmic club experiences through a fusion of percussive bass and cultural nuances. With influences from her upbringing in Cairo and a decade in New York, her sound bridges Middle Eastern electronic music with the bass-heavy energy of diasporic club scenes.
Joining her is Salam Kitty, a DJ whose sonic exploration is deeply tied to their mixed cultural roots and queer identity. As co-founder of the Scottish QTIPoC+ party Mojxmma, they use music to connect to heritage and community. Expect an eclectic mix of bass-heavy, percussive sounds, fun edits, afro-electronic, left-field techno and electro.
And finally, Hu-Sane, curator of the night, is a genre-defying DJ and producer, blending UK Bhangra, and the raw energy of breaks, bass and UKG. As the founder of Haram Haram, she champions the electronic sounds of the South Asian and SWANA diaspora, injecting unapologetic energy into every set.
For one night only, the boundaries between music and film dissolve—Post Credits is the perfect after-dark extension of the festival.
