The Mars Generation (2017, PG)

An amazing documentary for Primary 5 right up to S2. The Mars Generation looks at a group of teenagers taking part in NASA's Space Camp, while exploring our fascination with the planet Mars and the possibilities of one day reaching the Red Planet. This documentary is inspiring and uplifting and focuses on the possibilities of space travel and exploration.

Great for classes studying space and other STEM subjects, it looks into the history of space travel and the skills required to become an astronaut.

The Mars Generation is available on Netflix.

Our resource contains watching questions, as well as questions on documentary filmmaking and designing a robot! It also contains links to NASA's Mars Rover project, which has a wealth of information and resources for space enthusiasts.
