Getting to and from the Venue:

  • The venue has its own car park. There are two accessible spaces at the front of the venue.
  • There is no designated drop-off point.
  • The closest bus stop is at Gallowgate. Buses servicing this stop include: 255, 351, 395 and simpliCITY 60, 60A, 61, 240.
  • The closest train station is Bellgrove Station. TransPennine Express offer a handy guide to visiting Glasgow by train, or visit National Rail.
  • The closest subway station is St Enoch, 0.9 miles away. www.spt.co.uk/subway

Venue Access

  • There is one accessible entrance to the venue at 17 Bain Street.
  • The outside pavement is not flush with the entrance to the building. 
  • The entrance door does not open automatically. The door is heavy to open, and opens away from you.
  • The width of the entrance door is 1 metre. 
  • There will be a GFF volunteer or member of staff nearby to offer assistance if required.

Inside the Venue

  • There are stairs inside the venue.
  • There is an accessible lift to the main venue, but not to the balconies.
  • There is one accessible toilet on the ground floor.
  • The venue does not have induction loops and/or infrared.
  • Guide dogs are welcome.
  • Wheelchair spaces need to be booked in advance through GFT. Please contact access@glasgowfilm.com.

Where the Event is Taking Place

  • Seating is available. The venue has red banquet chairs, or pews with cushions.
  • The flooring is old and wooden.
  • The event space lighting is bright to begin with but will dim to low level during screenings. 
  • The venue is well ventilated.
