Getting to the venue

  • There is a small area of land directly opposite the venue which can be used for parking free of charge. There is a space on the street outside Glasgow Women’s Library that is reserved for visitors with mobility issues
  • There is no official drop off point, but cars can briefly stop opposite Glasgow Women’s Library
  • The nearest railway station is Bridgeton Train Station which is a 2 minute walk (approx 0.1 miles) from the venue. Bridgeton Train Station is currently not wheelchair-accessible. The closest wheelchair-accessible station is Dalmarnock Station, which is a 14 minute walk (approx 0.7 miles) from the venue.
  • The nearest bus stops are on Anson Street and Bridgeton Cross and are served by routes 18, 46, 64, 65, 164, 263 and 765

Venue access

  • The main entrance is the door at 23 Landressy Street
  • The main is wheelchair accessible
  • The pavement is flush with the entrance
  • The entrance doors don’t open automatically but staff will be present to open them
  • There are steps to the first floor, where the event is taking place
  • An accessible lift is available

Inside the venue

  • There are two accessible toilets in the venue, one on the first floor and one on the first floor
  • There is no bar at the event 
  • There is no hearing loop system. A portable induction loop is available.
  • All service animals are welcome

Where the event is taking place

  • Seating is available in the venue.
  • The floor is carpeted with a light blue and red pattern 
  • Lighting will be dim during the screening, and lighter at other times
  • The venue is well ventilated
