Getting to the venue

  • The nearest car park is Concert Square, Cowcaddens Road, Glasgow, G4 0LU, which has accessible spaces. There is on street parking which is free after 6pm
  • There is no official drop off point
  • The closest railway station is Glasgow Queen Street.The venue is a 5 minute walk (approx 0.3 miles) away.
  • The closest subway station is Buchanan Street. The venue is a 4 minute walk (approx 0.2 miles) away.
  • The area is well served by numerous bus routes, and Buchanan Bus station is a 2 minute walk (approx 0.1 miles) away.


Venue access

  • The main access for the venue is on Renfrew Street. The main access has revolving doors and a button operated automatic door.
  • The main wheelchair access is through the right hand set of doors on Renfrew Street. The wheelchair accessible door is located on the right of the revolving door.
  • The outside pavement is flush with the entrance to the building
  • The accessible door is a hinged door which operates with a button and turns inside the building when opening. Make sure to stand clear of the door when exiting the building.
  • There are escalators between the entrance and the event space
  • There are three accessible lifts servicing all floors


Inside the venue

  • One gender neutral accessible toilet is located on each level
  • All bars, cafés and confectionery stands are wheelchair accessible
  • The venue has induction loops and infrared. Staff can advise the best seats to access this in the screen.
  • Guide dogs are welcome

Where the event is taking place

  • GFF Box Office will be located on level 6
  • Film will be screened in two halls; cinema 14 on level 5, and cinema 16 on level 6
  • There is seating available in the waiting areas and in the screens. The cinemas have raked seating.
  • Cinema 14 has three wheelchair spaces in the front row, which is at ground level
  • Cinema 16 has two wheelchair spaces in the front row, which is at ground level
  • The floor in the cinema halls is dark patterned carpet
  • Lighting in the cinema halls will be dark while the films are playing, and will be dim at other times
  • The venue is well ventilated
