Covid-19 Policy

We are looking forward to welcoming you back to the festival! Based on the current Scottish Government legislation we will be adopting the following procedures.

Daily Lateral Flow Tests Before Attendance

We ask all ticket holders and attendees of the festival, whether they are a guest, industry, member of the press, staff or volunteer to take a lateral flow test each day before attending events or screenings. Glasgow Film Festival staff at festival venues will not ask for proof* when attending events or screenings, but we hope that you will undertake this small, voluntary action to make us all safe.

* Please note that in order to attend any of the festival’s Networking Receptions you will be required to show proof of a negative lateral flow test taken within the last 24 hours. Only a text or email generated by the NHS will be acceptable as a form of proof, please visit their website here for more details on how to register tests.

Masks must be worn at all events and screenings, unless you are exempt

In line with Scottish Government guidance, masks are still a legal requirement in Scotland. Unless you are exempt, you must wear your mask inside all screenings and when attending an event.

Basic Hand Hygiene

In addition to basic hygiene, we actively encourage the use of sanitizing stations around all of our venues.
