Image for Window on the World

Window on the World provides a chance to see the films that have been making waves around the globe; films from far and wide that offer fresh perspectives, open hearts and minds, and grant a rare chance to walk in someone else’s shoes. Bear witness to the harsh realities of German workers in Bulgaria with Western; venture to the rural wilds of Iceland with The Swan, or take a trip to the wild, wild east with Indonesian filmmaker Mouly Surya and her stunning feminist western Marlina the Murderer in Four Acts. We’re taking an unforgettable expedition to the far side of the cinema universe – all aboard!
