The Seamore Neighbourhood Cinema / Sun 3 Mar (Doors 12.00)

Especially commissioned by GFF and guided by film curator Shona Thomson, Our Maryhill has enabled local community members to explore moving image from where they live. Working with archive footage from the National Library of Scotland, this programme has been curated by pupils from St Charles Primary and John Paul Academy, plus members of Community Connectors and residents from Queens Cross Housing Association. Each focusing on a particular theme, the groups will present their showcase of Maryhill past and present, and create new collective memories through the power of film. Before the film starts there will be live music and community installations.
