There is a hint of Parasite in this twisted comedy of manners as a privileged family find their comfortable lives forever changed by a stranger in their midst. Single mother Wanda (Agnieszka Grochowska) hails from Poland and arrives at a beautiful house on the Swiss Lakes to care for the elderly Josef (Andre Jung). His wife Elsa (Marthe Keller) welcomes her as part of the family, son Gregor (Jacob Matschen) falls for her, and Josef pays her for sex. Wanda’s pregnancy is an affront to the accepted order in a tangy tale of the class divide, guilty secrets and inconvenient truths.
