Red carpet nights at Glasgow Film Festival are reserved for the biggest and brightest films of the year. The ones with starry casts and big name directors, a touch of glitz and a hint of glamour: the movies everyone wants to be first in line to see. We are talking serious buzz and award potential, with the filmmakers in town to hear your reactions and answer all your questions. What would you like to ask? The many delights in store this year range from Emilio Estevez’s heartfelt, state-of-the-nation drama The Public to crowd-pleasing, cheer-the-underdog Australian comedy The Merger. Bo Burnam’s brilliant comedy-drama Eighth Grade follows introverted teen Kayla as she struggles through a disastrous last week of school, while She’s Missing from writer/director Alexandra McGuinness brings noir thrills to the desert.

Keep checking back as more guests are announced throughout January and February.
