Boundaries are pushed in Crossing The Line, showcasing experimental cinema in its most innovative and original forms. Here lie experiences which reform our perspectives on film, harnessing cutting-edge visions to take you on journeys of artistic expression through cinema. We partner with LUX Scotland once again for the world premiere of this year’s Margaret Tait award Ashley by Jamie Crewe as well as pioneering artist Rory Pilgrim’s The Undercurrent. Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival return to present Jessica Sarah Rinland’s poetic ode to conservation and restoration, Those That, at a Distance, Resemble Another, and Ben Rivers is back at GFF alongside Anocha Suwichakornpong with their dissection of Thai history, Krabi, 2562. Crossing The Line is the home of avant-garde – step outside your comfort zone and join us in the great unknown.
