Glasgow Film Festival Marketing Coordinator

Fixed Term: 1 October 2019 to 13 March 2020, 37 Hours per week, £22,560 (pro rata)

The Glasgow Film Festival Marketing Co-ordinator will work closely with the Marketing team to ensure that all promotional activity for Glasgow Film Festival 2020 (26 Feb – 8 March) is delivered on time and to an excellent standard. This will include working on content for the festival brochure, maintaining a database of relevant contacts for niche marketing opportunities, and creating online content in the lead-up to and during the festival. They will also keep a record of booked advertising deadlines and assist in the delivery of festival campaigns

Glasgow Film Festival Venues and Volunteer Coordinator

Fixed Term: 2 September 2019 to 13 March 2020, 37 Hours per week, £22,560 (pro rata)

The purpose of this post is to be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of Glasgow Film Festival’s venues and ensuring that all festival spaces offer the highest quality of customer service. During festival time in addition to the three screens inside Glasgow Film Theatre, we also have two separate screening venues, Cineworld Renfrew Street and the Centre for Contemporary Arts; a press and industry centre; and numerous venues across the city for our special events programme.

Glasgow Film Festival Industry Assistant

Fixed Term: 1 October 2019 – 13 March 2020, 37 Hours per week, £19,500 (pro rata)

The Industry Assistant will work closely with the Industry Coordinator to deliver the Industry Focus programme at Glasgow Film Festival 2020. You will coordinate all arrangements in regards to travel and accommodation, panel event participation, and any other meetings. This will include working with the wider festival teams on the planning and organisation of the programme, communicating with guests and delegates and liaising with industry venues and festival volunteers. You will assist with research around certain events and liaise with venues, guests and other stakeholders. During the festival you will be onsite at the industry venues assisting with meeting and greeting industry guests and panellists, and manage a team of volunteers.

Glasgow Film Festival Guest Services Assistant

Fixed Term: 1 October 2019 – 13 March 2020, 37 Hours per week, £19,500 (pro rata)

In the run up to the Festival the Guest Services Assistant will assist with guest travel and accommodation bookings for guests and may be required to liaise with external PR companies, agents and travel organisations. They will ensure the festival database is maintained and up-to-date. They may also make restaurant bookings for guests and coordinate and draft guest itineraries. During the Festival they will meet and greet guests, welcoming them to Glasgow, escorting them to film screenings and events.
