GFT x Films from India Festival
Films from India Festival is a weekend celebration of contemporary Indian cinema, presented by the Consulate General of India, Edinburgh, in partnership with GFT, and programmed by Momentum Films.
Showcasing a curated mix of box-office triumphs, festival favourites and bold auteur voices, the selection spans the vast diversity of India's regions and stories. From popular successes that shaped today's cultural moment to striking independent visions, the programme invites audiences to experience the richness, scale, and creativity of Indian filmmaking.
Join us from 12–14 September 2025, for this special showcase and be part of a cinematic journey into the heart of India's storytelling.
All screenings in the Films from India season are free but ticketed.
