New Website FAQs

  • Why do I need to set up a new account?

Our website and ticketing system moved to a new platform on 24 July and this requires customers to register with the new site in order to be able to book tickets on it.

All other customers will need to create a new account in order to buy online from Glasgow Film (eg tickets, gift vouchers).

  • Who do I contact about a problem using the site/using my account?

If you have a question relating to user accounts, tickets, memberships or gift vouchers, contact Box Office either by email boxoffice@glasgowfilm.org or call 0141 332 6535 (option 2).

If you are having technical problems using the website, please email ticketing@glasgowfilm.org

  • Why has the website changed?

Previously our website and ticketing systems were separate; the new website is a single unified platform, giving an improved customer booking experience and offering more opportunities for improvements to the content in future.

  • Why can I no longer view my GFT booking history?

Unfortunately as it is a new platform, it’s incompatible with the old platform and so previous ticket history is not available.

  • Can I still redeem a gift voucher on the new site?

Yes, these can be used on the new platform from 25 July.

Customers with an active membership (CineCard or 15-25 Card) will be sent an email to claim their account and set up a new password.

  • Have my loyalty points been transferred?
Yes these are being transferred to the new platform over the course of this week (w/c 24 July) and will be added to customers’ accounts.

  • Can I still use my CineCard vouchers
The paper complimentary vouchers provided to CineCard members have been replaced with digital complimentary tickets. All CineCard members with unused member vouchers will have digital complimentary tickets attached to their account.
  • Is the Glasgow Film At Home platform still available?
Yes the site is available here: https://athome.glasgowfilm.org   and login/customer accounts for the Glasgow Film At Home site have not changed.
