Visible Cinema: Slow

Visible Cinema is GFT's deaf and hard of hearing friendly film programme. Note: To Access the BSL Video, click the image on the left. When dancer Elena meets sign language interpreter Dovydas, their instant connection bodes well for a romantic relationship. But when Doyvdas reveals he’s asexual, their dynamic changes as both try to find a way to be together while fulfilling their respective needs. This Sundance award-winner is a modern love story about two people exploring how to build their own kind of intimacy. There will be full access for deaf and hard of hearing cinema-goers at this screening. The films will have descriptive subtitles and the introduction and discussion will have Live Captioning and BSL interpretation. There are no trailers before the film.
