Victor Victoria + introduction

In this 1982 musical comedy, Julie Andrews stars as Victoria Grant, a struggling soprano in 1934 Paris. She finally finds work, after she meets Toddy (Robert Preston), whom together come up with a plan for her to pose as a female impersonator. She is an overnight success, but keeping this secret is harder than you think. Screening as part of Queer Cinema Sundays. ------ YEAR OF CELEBRATION 2024 marks 85 years since our cinema (originally the Cosmo) was built, 50 years since GFT was founded and the 20th edition of Glasgow Film Festival.
