Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s career lasted only sixteen years, but in that time he made an astounding forty-four features, TV movies and shorts. A key figure in the New German Cinema movement, he is best remembered for his intense, brutal and uncompromising observances of human nature. Commemorating the 25th anniversary of his death, GFT has selected a series of some of his most influential, moving and important works.
