GFT in November/December

This winter, GFT welcome: Gremlins star Zach Galligan on 10 December; a preview screening of Manifesto, plus introduction from Cate Blanchett broadcast live from Tate Modern; a preview screening of Ai Weiwei’s documentary on the global migration crisis, Human Flow, followed by a satellite Q&A, and unique cinematic and musical collaboration between the Australian Chamber Orchestra and director Jennifer Peedom, Mountain will be followed by a recorded Q&A on Monday 11 December.

Manifesto: Live from Tate Modern

New releases include: Yorgos Lanthimos’ (The Lobster) sensational thriller The Killing of a Sacred Deer; the latest film from Sean Baker (Tangerine), The Florida Project; Robert Pattinson in the Safdie brothers’ Good Time; Emma Stone and Steve Carell star in Battle of the Sexes; latest from Michael Haneke, Happy End; a loveletter to filmmaking, documentary 78/52; James Franco’s hilarious ode to the cult-classic disaster-piece The Room, The Disaster Artist; plus a short Gloria Grahame retrospective, In a Lonely Place and The Big Heat, to coincide with the release of Scottish director Paul McGuigan’s biopic, Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool, featuring standout central performances from Annette Bening and Jamie Bell.
