BellRock and Hospitalfield

The choice of BellRock as the name for Creative Scotland’s Screenwriting Workshops BellRock came from The Bell Rock Lighthouse off the coast of Arbroath. The Bell Rock Lighthouse is the world's oldest surviving sea-washed lighthouse. It was built between 1807 and 1810 by Robert Stevenson – Robert Louis Stevenson’s grandfather.

Hospitalfield is an historic early Arts & Crafts artist’s house in Arbroath on the east coast of Scotland. Left in Trust by Patrick and Elisabeth Allan-Fraser to support education in the arts it was a residential art school for much of the 20th century. Today, Hospitalfield runs a series of research, development and production programmes in the form of residencies, seminars and summer schools.

The event is open to all Industry Focus pass holders.  You can purchase your pass here.

BellRock Screenwriter Pitch is delivered with support by Creative Scotland.
